Commercial Enquiry | CIBIL

What is a Credit Enquiry?

A credit enquiry occurs when someone applies for a loan or credit card.

Each time a ‘business/commercial entity’ applies, the lender* can check their Company Credit Report (CCR). These checks are recorded as “Enquiries” in your CCR.

*Lender refers to any bank or financial institution
